For ex-convict Marshun Watkins, this statement seemed to be somewhat true. After serving a short sentence for an unintentional crime, he is released from prison and has to start from scratch. His girlfriend Jayme, has been there for him and plans on continuing to stick around. In the other hand, his beneficial friend Melissa isn't so understanding. Marshun tries to stick it out with both but soon realizes that being involved with two women is more than he bargained for.
