A Hood Girl Dreams

Monica Hendricks had dreams to escape her poverty-stricken lifestyle, but when discouragement came from inside of her own home, those dreams quickly disappeared. She desperately wanted to escape her past running into the arms of Smoke, her boyfriend, who only left her with empty promises of a better life.

Monica’s best friend, Rocky, brings her into a lifestyle that brings out her alter ego, making her lose herself and her faith in God, and she begins to live her life on her own terms; until she finds out that money isn’t everything, and some lessons we just have to learn the hard way.
