The Good Audit– A uniquely hilarious office comedy about everything that goes wrong when you put eight accountants in the same room for too long.
Manager is as much a family man as anyone can be while working “the grind” at a large firm. He is always jovial and laid back. He is not serious or overly anal like most other auditors and almost nothing makes him really panic. He is not so constantly caught up in the minutia of pointless and meaningless details. As a result, he is seen as much more practical and pragmatic than any other auditor…EVER.
Manager is part of a top-notch team of over-achieving, excessively ambitious CPA’s at The Accounting Firm. The team has a new client – a motley crew of highly incompetent finance professionals at a company called Widget Maker. As expected, nothing goes as planned.
When frustration grows and pressure builds, the Widget Maker finance team members refuse to cooperate with the auditors. Everything literally swirls out of control until legal woes unexpectedly land the two teams on the same side of trouble. Will Manager be able to use the teams’ mutual animosity towards Widget Maker’s legal department and bring everyone together to get the job done?
Laugh out loud through every comical twist and turn, let your jaw drop at the absurd nonsense that perhaps happens in today’s corporate finance environment, and soak up the life lessons offered for those who pay attention as you fly through this extremely humorous business adventure!
