Where The Willow Grows

Where The Willow Grows is a short story about a small town American woman, Erin Bingley, accepts a six month teaching contract in Kyiv, Ukraine in an attempt to change her perspective on life and escape an unstable relationship with her family. But she is soon thrown into the prospect of helping change the Ukrainian medical system when she meets neurosurgeon, Anton, a middle-aged doctor with hopes of building his own hospital in the city. Will she form an unlikely bond with Anton and how will the Ukrainian government react to his determination and unconventional behaviour to change the corrupt system that the city is forced to live by. A story of how two people of opposite walks of life are given a chance to change each other's lives, for the better.
