For Janae Williams, being a side chick is life. Growing up around shady situations, she felt that this kind of behavior was acceptable. The saying “the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree” perfectly described her lifestyle. It was all about getting what she wanted out of men. It was never serious, and catching feelings was not allowed. At least they weren’t until she met Diondre.

Instantly, she falls for him and starts tripping off of his thug love. For him, she is willing to give up all of her old ways, but the problem is that Diondre came with extra baggage.
