This is a reverse-Cinderella tale and set in Grimsby, England during the Victorian era.

Blossom’s husband passed away. Childless and unable to inherit, he left her destitute and homeless. Her only option left was to enter the workhouse for the poor. Once there, they took her clothes and dignity. But worse, strange screams kept her awake at night. With women disappearing, would she be next?
