A long time artist in the country music community and one of the legendary ''Mandrell Sisters'', Louise was integral in their rise in the early 80s when they took country music by storm and even crossed over into the mainstream with their TV show. Barbara Mandrell's younger sister showed talent at an early age, playing bass in Barbara's band at 15 and touring with Merle Haggard soon after. Starting in '78, Louise got her own chance at country stardom-and capitalized, scoring 29 hits over the next decade.
