It's a funny thing about your past, it always finds a way of catching up with you. Baltimore Arson Investigator Micah Pierce resigns from his job determined to leave town along with the nightmare of the disastrous Pyro investigation, his most difficult case. But deep down he knows it will be a matter of time before the arsonist who he suspects faked his death, will resurface. Finding comfort in the small upstate New York town of West Lake, he meets and falls for Raleigh Mashburn, local bakery owner. When the fires start up again, Micah is thrust back in the public eye and forced to face his demons. Things really heat up when Raleigh's bakery becomes the arsonists latest casualty and she is used as a pawn in a game of cat and mouse. Can Micah finally put a stop to Pyro's reign of terror and save the woman he loves or will this be the one case that finally pushes him over the edge?
