Cognitive behavioral therapy is a form of psychological therapy based on the assumption that there is a close relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. WHY?

The functions of the brain are clearly shown through behavior and emotion. So, this part tries to understand brain functioning which is something that happens every second of our lives. So, this is the first part of this therapy. So, the other part is the behavioral part. After understanding how the brain works then it is easy to know the cause of certain behavior in human beings. After the result of cognition are behavior and a display of emotion where there is a need for them. So, in this part we look at all types of behavior and when they are appropriate and when it is not. In the behavioral part, there is also the part where one looks at how to control behavior. This is especially done when one is showing some inappropriate behavior especially to others. So, in general, both being combined brings the working of the cognitive and behavioral aspects. So, this book cognitive behavioral therapy covers it all.
