Birmingham Born

Birmingham Born is a novel set in Birmingham, Alabama, in the months of April to September 1963, days that would change the nation forever. They would also change Travis Buchanan, a Baptist minister confronting the meaning the events of the period would bring to his comfortable life. As he works to normalize his life following the tragic death of his wife, circumstances draw him into an uncomfortable familiarity with the cultural watershed unfolding around him. He learns how much there is to learn about his own morality, the comfort of friends, the humor in vainglory, and real heroism.
