The idea for this book was born from the perception that beauty in the contemporary world should not simply based on the pursuit of senses, instead- it is deeply penetrated by rational concerns and forces. Evidence for this is visible in the phenomena of Palaeolithic cave paintings, ancient Greek politics and culture, Renaissance paintings and modern city planning.
