Sort and clean a list
Tidy a list in one pass: trim each item, drop empty lines, remove duplicates, ignore a leading article when sorting, and order it A–Z, Z–A, by length or at random. Useful for turning a scraped list into something a spreadsheet or an email can use.

Notes on sorting
What does “Ignore leading The” do?
It sorts on the word after a leading “The”, “A” or “An” without changing the item itself — so “The Hobbit” files under H beside “Hobbit”, which is how a shelf reads.
How is “Sort by length” ordered?
Shortest first, with ties broken alphabetically.
Is the shuffle random every time?
Yes. Press the button again for a different order. It is done in your browser with no seed saved anywhere.
