South African National HIV Prevalence, Incidence, Behaviour and Communication Survey, 2008: A Turning Tide Among Teenagers?

Providing an analysis of trends across its own results as well as those of its two predecessors, this survey maps the ways in which the shape of the HIV and AIDS pandemic in South Africa has changed since 2002. Indicators for assessing progress made in implementing South Africa’s National Strategic Plan on HIV and AIDS from 2007 to 2011 are also reviewed.
