Boonie: Freedom Runner

Boonie: Freedom Runner is a beautiful story of a physically challenged little boy named Timmy and his dog Boonie, a Black and Tan Coonhound Dog. Timmy is inspired by Boonie to join Boonie, Dapper, the Duck and the other animals as they explore the sunny South Florida outdoors. Eventually Timmy finds the courage to abandon his crutches and walk without any aid. Boonie is a story of a child gaining confidence and overcoming challenges. The reader will travel through the South Florida landscape meeting frogs, birds, ducks, wild hogs and of course, Timmy and Boonie.
