Gems of Worship: Divine Verses on Advaita Hindu Philosophy

Bhaja Govindam is a series of verses of serious importance. And yet, underlying it is a great message of love between God and mankind. There is a great need for a “hammer to illusion,” and this can be none other than God’s love. I hope that these verses become gems of worship and also serve their purpose in leading people to serve God and realise the oneness and kinship in spirit. There are several renditions of the Bhaja Govindam available and together with the words and meaning, I hope people can appreciate fully its essence and enjoy the beauty of the concept of Advaita. Also, I have included the Thotaka Ashtakam, so that people may appreciate the ecstatic faith and love that the disciple has for the guru and his message.
