Description

The 2005 Edition of the Canadian Currency Collection Inventory Management and Price Guide software has been upgraded to include Canadian coins minted since 1823 and banknotes printed since 1935. It contains 52 spreadsheets, listing over 3,500 coin and 2,300 banknote items, using over 89,000 price points from 45 different coin grades and 18 different banknote grades. 32 of these spreadsheets are for recording the inventory of a collection, by matching items to a grade and then entering a quantity. After any quantity is entered, the catalog value of a collection is calculated immediately, allowing a user to quickly document and determine a fair retail value of a collection. Four spreadsheets contain pricing for High Grade coins, along with eye appeal grades for copper, silver and nickel - which is a first for any catalog of Canadian coins.

Other features are available such as the Price Guide lookup tables, that not only allow a user to quickly find pricing information on any item listed in the catalog, but to set user defined lists of any items found in the tables. Four calculators are available to help determine a variety of pricing such as auction, dealer, eBay or bullion prices; using user settable foreign currency rates and bullion spot prices. And new for 2005 is the Coin Grading Assistant that has over 250 obverse images of copper and silver coins, from Queen Victoria to Queen Elizabeth II.

Using the software requires Microsoft Excel XP/2002/2003, running under Windows 98/2000 (FAT32 format), or Windows 2000/XP (NTSF format). Included is a 222 page Software User Guide and Introduction to Coin Collecting.
