Australia Business Process Outsourcing Survey
Book Details
Description
This IDC study presents IDC's findings and analysis from its survey of 207 Australian based corporate managers and executives regarding current and expected buying behaviour and preferences for BPO services. This study focuses on assessing demand for BPO along specific functional segments, including customer care, human resources, finance and accounting, sales, marketing, procurement, administration, logistics, facilities and operations managements. The study also focuses on intentions across vertical industries and company size.
"IDC's user research clearly indicates a significant, and growing, acceptance of the BPO model. The broad spread of demand across the wide range of business processes reinforces the strategic relevance of this intended adoption of externally managed business activity. At this very early stage, future prospects for the BPO sector look quite strong," says Kathy Benson, senior analyst, Outsourcing, IDC Australia.
