From the supplier: Ohio State University Prof J. Brooks Breeden uses Course of Action, an icon-based authoring system from Authorware Inc, to write highly visual, problem-generating tutorials that cover material previously presented in less effective drill-and-practice exercises. The system runs on Apple Macintosh computers, is designed for use by people with no knowledge of programming, and provides such tools as text, graphics, animation, sound, and simulation. Breeden finds Course of Action faster and better than previously available courseware; it can import text and graphics from other Macintosh programs, enables tracking of students' performance, and helps students apply classroom learning to the real world.
