From the supplier: Cuyahoga Community College professor Samuel W. Spero uses SuperCalc, spreadsheet software from Computer Assoc International Inc, to teach calculus. The package is available in an inexpensive student edition; its graphing capabilities alleviate much of the tedium involved in calculus, and enable students to complete more exercises. Spero also uses SuperCalc in testing, and to explain such concepts as derivatives; he believes it is at least as easy to learn as other programs, and is superior to graphing packages as a teaching tool.
