From the supplier: Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc has retrofit six of its steam boilers at its Van Nuys, CA, facility to comply with a state mandate calling for a 75% reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions by Jul 1993. Emissions can be reduced by preventing them from forming and by cleaning exhaust gases. Anheuser-Busch opted for prevention because of the lesser cost. Todd Combustion Inc was chosen for the retrofit, which began in 1989. Todd has guaranteed emissions will be 27 ppm if continuously monitored, well within the legal limit of 30 ppm.
