From the supplier: The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's (EEOC) new guidelines that teach its investigators how to evaluate charges that an employer's health insurance plan violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will cause most existing plans to remain intact. The EEOC guidelines give employers assistance in formulating both insured and self-insured employee health plans that will not conflict with the ADA rule that forbids refusing the disabled employment to prevent increased health insurance costs. Disabilities that are excluded from the law are identified in the guidelines.
