From the supplier: The interior design and fashion merchandising programs at Valparaiso Univ in Indiana are utilizing computer-aided design software from Intergraph Corp in the school's computer lab. Program coordinator Diane Davis uses Microstation Mac 3.5, a CAD software package, to help students visualize their ideas in three dimensions. Using the CAD software enables students to visualize the relationships between three dimensional isometrics, elevations and floorplans simultaneously. It is used in the university's computer lab, which features 20 microcomputers, including Apple Macintosh IIcis, laser printers, Apple Scanners and an eight pen plotter. The lab is part of Valparaiso Univ's ongoing attempt to familiarize students of design with the possibilities of the microcomputer as a design tool.
