From the supplier: Kraft Food Ingredients Corp (Memphis, TN) now offers confectionary caramel in chips and chunks in lots of 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, and 10,000 counts per pound. For the production of baked goods, the caramel chips perform in a similar fashion to chocolate chips. Unlike traditional caramel forms, the chips and chunks are not sticky and can be distributed with dry ingredient equipment. The chips come in 50-pound lots and have a shelf-life of 270 days.
