From the supplier: Large insurance agencies and managing general agents are opposing attempts by state associations to affiliate with agency clusters and networks, for competitive reasons. But the reality is these networks have given new life to small agencies. They hold out the promise of better local service, cost savings and new business opportunities, and the associations would be foolish not to see what they have to offer.
