From the supplier: Technology is being integrated into curriculum more often, as higher quality software becomes more widely available. Software offerings are available to promote a wide variety of curriculum objectives. More states are placing a high priority on a technology foundation through education, to create a new paradigm of innovative learning. Teachers are more selective in materials they use to educate their students. With television, for example, schools with a media specialist make better use of television programming. With the wider availability of authoring systems, teachers are developing their own curriculum material. Multimedia technology also lends itself for integration into the learning process. Use of technology for instruction must be ongoing to be effective. The budget must be re-examined to allow for technology, and teachers must be provided with the time, material, and support to integrate technology into their curriculum.
