From the supplier: Kerry Group PLC has acquired Allied Domecq PLC's food ingredients business for a total of $402 million. The acquisition is part of Kerry's expansion plans and also figures prominently in its desire to gain headway in the development of new food technologies and their applications in the bakery, coatings, fruit flavors and dairy dessert markets. As part of its expansion, Kerry has set up several manufacturing plants in Ireland, the US, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom and Mexico.
