From the supplier: A $50 million class-action suit has been filed against the Cunard Steamship Lines by passengers who sailed on the company's Queen Elizabeth II luxury liner's Dec 1994 Christmas voyage. The suit, which was initiated by passenger Christine Hall, accused Cunard of exposing the passengers to dangerous situations, including exposure to asbestos contaminants. They noted that they were cordoned off from several of the Queen Elizabeth's passageways, including the emergency exits.
