From the supplier: Community banks need to develop a brand image to be able to survive the intense competition from the large banks. The establishment of a brand image must be approached from a holistic standpoint in that it should emanate from the internal organization, involving all members from the teller to the CEO. The strategy is to pinpoint a bank's strengths and construct a homogeneous message to be delivered to both employees and customers. This message should be evident not only in advertising but in every business decision and customer relationship.
