From the supplier: Myres McDougal, late professor at the Yale Law School, developed a theory of law as a process for establishing a public order of human dignity. His jurisprudence developed in reaction to the Legal Realism he learned as a law student but in which he found deficiencies such overemphasis on the passive prediction of legal decisions. At the end of his life, McDougal reaffirmed the enhancing of human dignity as the highest calling.
