The Thought Cathedral: Part 1

Lyn Lee is a technician for Brooklyn Venture Capital, the technology arm of a discreet Wall Street firm located outside of the Wall Street establishment with an unmatched history of innovation and cooperation with the CIA and the U.S. armed forces. Out of the blue, on an ordinary workday, Lee is summoned to the office of the company’s equally enigmatic and eccentric founder and CEO, Charlie Monroe. Upon leaving, Lee finds herself working alongside the FBI to help hunt down a Chinese mole.

Not yet a week into her new assignment, Lee is unexpectedly drawn into the life of one of the FBI’s prime suspects, Dr. Wu Xiang. As their relationship unfolds, Lee finds herself drawn further into Xiang’s web. Along the way, she must navigate temptations by the Chinese elite, cultural and ethical barriers, and even the questioning of her own identity as she works to hunt down the mole, a mole bent on stealing the most sensitive and game-changing technology yet developed by the U.S. government.
