There are two types of international lawyers:

1.) Those that do not have special training in it but fall into it from doing multi-jurisdictional cases, contracts and deals.

2.) The true international lawyers who have studied a field called Public International Law/ PIL.

They work for governments, intergovernmental organizations/ IGOs, nonprofits/ NGOs and mulitinational corporations/ MNCs.
