THE MARSHAL OF KINGDOM

As the marshal of a town called Kingdom, Sam Lance had a good life. Until he and his new bride found themselves suddenly caught between two gunmen. When the gunsmoke cleared, Lance was the only one still standing.
Now, five years later, Clint Adams finds the ex-marshal in Denver. He’s still blaming himself for his wife’s death and still nursing his wounds—by nursing a bottle. It’s time to get Lance back on his feet—with a helping hand from a pretty little lass named Daphne … and the Gunsmith, of course.
First they get him clean. Then they get him sober. But the best wake-up call is already on its way. The of the men Lance killed want revenge.
Looks like Sam Lance is finally going to face his past—and place the blame where it really belongs.
