World Business Superbook: Sell Your Stuff Anywhere

Most passenger water travel is local, either as foot-passengers or in cars. For most, you don t need to book in advance.

Even with the tunnel in England, they still have a car ferry to France.

I noticed that a lot of ferries worldwide go out of business for awhile then come back with either government assistance or somebody new thinks they can make a profit on it.

Cruise holidays are big everywhere. Most are all-inclusive, including food and bar.

There are cruises for every demographic group everywhere. I ve seen them in the Caribbean, Thailand, the Antarctic, Mexico, Alaska, etc.

You can go on a freighter as a commercial traveler.

I tried to create the most comprehensive guide for all sea travel companies in the world which is basically:

ferries for transportation
cruises for fun
commercial freighter travel for people who want to take a slow boat ride across an ocean
sailing charters, a small group of friends or family charter a yacht for a vacation

This book also covers boating, yachting, sailboats and watersports like scuba diving and swimming.

The transportation industry is about transporting people as passengers in cars, buses, trains, planes and ships and transporting domestic, industrial and international freight and cargo by land, sea and air.

This is tied in with logistics, packaging and world trade (exporting and importing) which I cover in another book called the World Business Superbook.

The tourism-hospitality industry or Horeca (hospitality-restaurant-caf ) is a related field that s about locomotion too but it s also about getting people to places so they can have their version of fun, leisure, recreation and entertainment. I created another superbook for the travel-hospitality field.

The transportation field is function, moving people and cargo for practical reasons. It can be as simple as the local bus driver driving people to work or the container ship crew traveling the world through the Panama or Suez Canal.

I brought all the resources I could find with land, sea and air travel into this book including trucking.

The transportation industry is massive. Moving people and cargo affects every person and product in the world.

This book is for travelers and tourists who want most of the bus, subway and train company websites in the world right here at their finger tips.

It s easy to book air travel. There are lots of air comparison websites like onetravel and cheapoair that cover the entire world air travel spectrum but most land travel by rail, bus, subway and car is local.

There is no central website or book for world travel except this one. This book is the world s central authority on bus, rail, subway, air and water travel but I created a separate car book for car travel.

The land transportation industry includes logistics and most of the jobs within land transportation including trucking.
