Creating a Professional Book Cover is Easier and Cheaper than You Think
How much do you think you need to spend for an e-book cover? $100? $200? $500? Yes, you can spend that much and more. OR you can create one yourself for under $10 using free open source software and stock photos. This short illustrated step-by-step guide shows you one way to create a beautiful e-book cover inexpensively. You don't have to be a graphic artist or a computer tech to follow a few simple instructions and create a stunning cover in just a few minutes. In this book, you will learn how to use GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program), a free full-featured graphics program you download to your Windows, Mac or Linux computer, to create simple, but attractive e-book covers in minutes. Additionally, with the purchase of the book, you will find links to additional free web extras.
How do I .... guides are short, "fat-free" tutorials giving basic instructions for accomplishing specific tasks. They are simple and to the point. In many cases, there are other ways of accomplishing the same task. In the cause of simplicity, we present only one. We believe that people today are too busy to have to wade through hundreds of pages just to learn a single task. If you are looking for something more comprehensive, you can look elsewhere. If you are looking for the fastest path to learning, then these books are for you.
