Written In The Ruby (Creatures of Myth Book 2)

An ancient ruby that was once owned by Catherine the Great, mystically binds Zane and Nicole together in ways neither wanted or imagined.

Nicole Martin is a romance author. She likes her privacy and her new little house in the Cascade Mountains. Her sexy next-door neighbor Zane is a complication she doesn’t need in her life. She struggles to keep her distance, but she can’t help using him as inspiration in her books.

Zane Patrick is a vampire who just wants to be left alone to raise his horses and live a quiet life. He refuses to get involved with all the politics of his species or the Others. The one threat to his peaceful, sane existence is the sexy woman who bought the house next door. For some reason he shares her mind when she writes love scenes and they all seem to feature him!

When Nicole is kidnapped by human fanatics, Zane makes a deal with Vlad Tepes, exchanging his hard-won political freedom for help rescuing the woman who might be his life mate.

Will Zane rescue Nicky? Will they live long enough to discover the ruby has chosen them as fated mates?
