Guided by the Stars (A Northern Lights Romance Book 2)

A Father's Dying Wish . . .

After Dr. Hannah Shaw’s four-year-old daughter is released from the hospital following a serious bout of pneumonia, graduating from her medical residency is anticlimactic. When a deathbed letter arrives from a father she’s never met—or wanted to meet—offering a free, two-week vacation on Polaris Island, Hannah is skeptical, but decides the timing couldn’t be more perfect. What better way to relax and recharge before staring her new job as a family practitioner in St. Louis?

Marine biologist, Luke Baldwin, provides whale watching tours to subsidize his research on the island, keeping his distance from the tourists after tragically losing his girlfriend a year ago. Yet the moment he sees Hannah and Bree, he finds he can’t stay away. In no time at all, the little girl, and her stunning mother wiggle their way into his heart.

Hannah feels instantly at home in the small town and enjoys every aspect of life on the island. Bree even loves fishing! One medical catastrophe after another has her reimagining her future as a physician on the island. Until the truth about her father and her need to protect Bree from heartbreak bring reality crashing in.

With her trust shattered into tiny pieces, Hannah isn’t sure which way to turn. Will she allow Luke to guide her on the path to everlasting love?
