Chained (Alphabits Book 4)

Lost. Stolen. Forgotten… until the Alphabits step in.

A Team A.L.P.H.A. spinoff series.

Six years ago, Lance Lancaster (no, his parents hadn’t hated him—they were just that snooty) lost the only member of his family who cared about him—his six-year old autistic half-brother, Spencer Maximillian. He’s certain the anti-shifter group protesting outside of Spencer’s school is to blame, but no one has made any progress on the case, and he’s certain everyone has given up.

Until Oswald “Ozzy” Ryder and the Alphabits pick up the cold case. Ozzy swaggered into the Maximillian mansion expecting business as usual. He didn’t expect to find a handful of adorably too-big eared fennec fox with a scent that screamed mate!

With Lance’s obsessive data collection and the Alphabits’ know-how, Lance begins to feel hope he might see his brother again. But things aren’t what they appeared, and it takes the insight of a new team member to put the team on the right track… and hope they’re not too late.

The Alphabits aren’t vigilantes. These former soldiers and officers of the law have to do things by the book—even when it tears them apart to do so. But once all their ducks are in a row, the bad guys had better beware! You do not want this team of protective alphas on your tail.

This is the fourth in the Alphabits series, and should be read in order for maximum enjoyment. You can expect to find naughty, knotty scenes of steamy passion, along with a lot of potty-mouth language and some violence. The team is growing, along with the complexity of their cases. Get ready for another sweet read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. HEA definitely included, intended for 18+ readers only. Seriously, would you expect anything less from Susi Hawke and Crista Crown?
