Hordes of infected are attacking humanity. No one knows why. Only that something is controlling them.

When Colt Maddox receives a call from his brother Jake, his brother is panicked, and shouting nonsense about an apocalypse. Jake is never unhinged--he's Army Special Forces--the kind of man who instills fear, not represents it.

Colt lives deep within the Rocky Mountains, and news of this disaster has yet to reach such isolated areas. But he soon discovers the threat is very real, and a lot closer to home than he expected.

As the infected spread across the country, Colt must take a stand and move his family to safety. But that means leaving the security of his home in the mountains and moving toward more populated areas.

And in the end of days, population likely means only one thing--death.
