Japan Blade Server 2004-2008 Forecast and 1H04 Vendor Shares

In this study shipments and product trends of the blade server market from 1H02 (January–June) to 1H04 are analyzed, and the product strategies of vendors are examined. This study also scrutinizes market opportunities for blade servers by product specification and provides a market forecast up to 2008.

"Blade servers will gain recognition as the main platform to integrate existing server environments. The user base will continue to expand and the blade server market will reach 46.37 billion Yen in 2008.
