Japan Network Equipment Sales Channel Survey 2005: Sales Revenue by Vendor and Vendor Evaluation
Book Details
Description
This IDC study analyzes the results of a survey targeted at 30 sales channels distributing network equipments in Japan. Many sales channels expect their revenues from network equipment sales to increase in 2005. IDC believes that large contributions would come from the sales of VoIP and wireless LAN equipments.
"The sales channels, feeling the limitation of network equipment sales alone, are exploring more opportunities for growth by incorporating security solutions that are presently attracting a lot of attention from the VoIP systems and corporate users. However, it would still be difficult for the sales channels to assure profit if all the other market players adopt the same strategy. Thus, it is necessary for them to find their own uniqueness which would differentiate them from the rest," observes Kenichi Kusano, research analyst, Japan Network Equipments, IDC Japan.
