We are all familiar with the term discrimination. Typically however, we assume discrimination deals with the actions or treatment of individuals based on sex, color, nationality, religion or other personal life style preferences. In the business world, discrimination can have meanings in addition to its relation to people. “When a firm charges different prices to different groups of customers, it may be accused of price discrimination.” (Ferrell, Fraedrich & Ferrell. 2009. p 278) Ultimately this type of discrimination still affects an individual, but it is based on international business operations and strategies as opposed to the individual person. . .
