Ogin (Crow Nation Series Book 5) / Linda Walker

Ogin is the last book in my Crow Nation Series. As all my books are, this is a clean romance about Native Americans in the mid-1700s.
Ogin was a young Crow girl that was destined to become a great healer just like her mother, Mausi, was. However, living in the period she did, many forces were working against her and her HEA, including her own father and an enemy tribe. Her story is filled with love, passion, and happiness, but also those around her hold power to destroy everything she ever thought she wanted and needed.
Ogin’s Akbaatatdia (One Who Has Made Everything/Maker of All Things Above) has set a new Red Path for her to follow which includes a young Comanche warrior to be her husband. How can a Crow woman and a Comanche Warrior put their history of the two tribes being enemies and the hatred most of their people feel for each other aside to blend their cultures to become one with the world that forbids this?
This is a story of the struggles one young couple has to find true happiness and safety in each other’s arms. Will they succeed or will Ogin be ripped from her one true love? Ogin will fight hard to be with Payatt, even going so far as to escape into the mountains alone with the Apache looking for her. Her love, Payatt, fights harder to find her so he can keep her safe and with him. Will they both succeed or will their destiny be destroyed forever?
Let yourself be carried back to the 1700s before white man was ever known to the Western Native Americans, where life was an entirely different way of living than we know today. Their life was hard, by our standards, and violent with many sacrifices that had to be made for the good of the people. Even with trying to endure everything that cruel world handed them, the Native Americans were some of the most spiritual people known to man. The one question that has always bothered me is where they learned so much about our Lord, or Creator as they called him.
