Emotional Intelligence is something you need to measure for yourself and it is only by being aware of your emotions and reading them in different circumstances that you can really get a handle on why you respond in a set way to given circumstance.

In this day and age, it’s even more important that you harness what emotional intelligence you have since more and more people these days are suffering from the effects of stress and it’s becoming worse, rather than better. Your emotional intelligence is what brings you back into this moment in time and allows you to see things from a more neutral perspective. You tend to be forward thinking and also know how to respond to people’s weaknesses which strengthen you are an individual. You will also be able to recognize the signs of your own emotions trying to take control and will be able to stem them until you have found suitable solutions to your problems. Everyone is born with emotional intelligence. It is only life that takes it away. The way that you were brought up and the circumstances that surround your life play a huge role in how you manage to handle your emotions.
