From the supplier: Multimedia authoring provides both the teacher and student with an opportunity to build their skills at synthesis and presentation. Using such popular program development software packages as IBM's Linkway and Storyboard Live, users can quickly integrate video, audio, graphics and text into an imaginative presentation. Linkway is termed a 'hypermedia tool' and works by integrating user-created folders. Storyboard Live is a more linear software that organizes materials around the concept of sequenced photographic slides. Linkway enables the user to scan in artwork, maps, audio selections as well as to create 'buttons' that reference selections on videodisc, videotape or CD-ROM. Presentations created can then be captured on videotape by means of translating the VGA signal into a normal National Television System Committee (NTSC) television signal.
